    I'm a figurative artist. I change my subjects very often. Shape, light and color are constant obsessions for me. I prefer subjects with strong chiaroscuro contrasts, there can be no light without shadow. The form can alternatively be solid or liquefied, as well as the brushstroke that goes from slow and descriptive to dynamic and contemptuous. The technique is at the service of the subject, and the subject can vary as often as I deem it necessary. In a society like ours, in perennial movement and in constant change, I cannot think of being mono thematic, I'm like my painting.
