Prato 1974, lives and works in Prato

I’ve been painting for nearly twenty years. I’m interested in an always filtered figuration of my technique which is an overlap of paper on wood, treated first with waxes and then coloured with primers of varnishes, it’s a simple almost childish representation as the “experts” would say, nearly Naive; indeed I’m also a Naive person, in the sense that I feel out of place and meanwhile I don’t care of being such. This reflects in the things that I do which seem out of time and don’t follow the world that surrounds me. In fact they come from a “fantasticanza” (or fantastical) dimension, a trait that even the titles of my works have. I have a wife, two daughters, two cats and a dog, whose name is Nina; she often appears in my works.
