With the semi-permanent installation conceived for Casale Sant’Antonio III, our Gallery renews its dialogue between contemporary art and the landscape within the exclusive setting of Casali di Casole. The project represents the latest chapter in a longstanding collaboration between Sensi Arte Contemporary Art Gallery, isculpture Art Gallery, and Casali di Casole—a partnership developed over more than a decade and grounded in a shared vision where contemporary art, architecture, landscape, and hospitality coexist in harmonious balance.
The installation brings together works by Toni Alfano, Nicola Bertellotti, Joan Coderch & Javier Malavia, Nimrod Messeg and Andrea Roggi.
Toni Alfano’s painterly practice unfolds as an exploration of memory and spirituality, giving form to surfaces where gesture, material, and colour merge in a deeply evocative balance. Nicola Bertellotti’s photographs capture the suspended beauty of abandoned places, transformed into modern ruins where time, light, and silence regenerate the memory of architecture. The sculptures of Joan Coderch & Javier Malavia interpret the human figure through a contemporary language that combines formal rigour with profound emotional intensity, creating silent presences that seem to suspend the passage of time. Nimrod Messeg‘s research is based on the use of ancient forging, welding, power hammering, plasma torch, etc. Techniques that allow him to create textures, shapes, and effects that give his sculptures a unique style and appearance. Finally, Andrea Roggi‘s works transform bronze into a poetic language of extraordinary expressive power: trees, figures, and organic forms become metaphors for growth, connection, and the relationship between man and nature.
Installed throughout the interiors of Casale San Giovanni, the works establish a natural dialogue with both the architecture and the surrounding landscape, transforming the spaces into a continuous exhibition path where art, nature, and place merge into a single immersive experience.
